Rebecca Saunders' 'Skull' & New Music From Wales

Featuring:
Welsh Premiere - Rebecca Saunders - Skull
Wales based new commissions
Delyth Fields
Daniel Soley
Claire Victoria Roberts
UPROAR's 2027 tour fuses a vibrant programme of new work from acclaimed British composer, Rebecca Saunders, alongside three bold new voices in classical music from Wales.
UPROAR's dynamic ensemble of 15 musicians blends acoustic music, video and live electronics in multimedia collaborations, pushing the boundaries of these artforms.
Claire Victoria Roberts, Daniel Soley and Delyth Field create dynamic new multimedia works combining live music, image and electronic sounds.
Expect a vivid spectacle of colour, texture and movement, across sound and vision, that takes you on a kaleidoscopic journey through the seasons in Daniel Soley’s developed version of audio-visual project, Tymhorau.
Delyth Field’s ‘Simulacrum’ is an expression of cognitive decluttering—an attempt to ground the self, amidst chaotic channels of fake media, and the superficial.
Claire Victoria Roberts’s music is infused with dance-like rhythms, inspired by the landscape and stories of her coastal home in the Tywi Estuary and Ferryside near Llanelli.
Rebecca Saunders is one of the leading international composers of her generation. Skull is part of a trilogy of exquisitely crafted pieces, rarely performed in the UK.
